Southeast Texas was hit with a large hail storm Friday January 8th, 2015. Meyerland, Bellaire, and Stafford are all the places in the Greater Houston area to receive hail, as well as Huntsville and Bentwater just north of Houston.
Huntsville had golfball size hail come through at about 6pm that Friday night. A State Roofing inspector looked at a handful of roofs the Wednesday after the storm, and still found ice in the valleys! Elkins Lake is swarmed with roofing companies right now, and will continue to stay that way for the next 60-90 days.
